I’m looking at getting back in the game, and I want to resurrect my farsight army.
Is there a rule set that allows crisis suits as troops? If so what book am I looking for? It’s not in the basic tau book. I’ve seen some “leaks” for stuff like the eight but I can’t find anything on which book or supplements I need to field this army legit.
Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Sorry, no suits as troops (and I'm right there weeping with you) and the 8 is in CA2018
On the flipside, there are detachments that are composed entirely of elites and HQs.
JSJ is gone, but there is a Tau Relic, and a Dal'yth stratagem that allows you to use the tactic.

Unless I missed something, crisis suits can no longer be a troop choice.
That really does not matter though as you do not need to have a troop choice because of the way the Detachments now work.

Chapter Approved 2018 contains rules for The Eight.

The rules for The Eight in CA18 are clear on what detachment to use.
