TACTICS

Bloodclaws and wulfen enter the stormwolf, grey hunters enter the rhino, longfangs enter the razorback, terminators go on reserves and helblasters on the hunt. Stormwolf, stormfang, rhino and hqs go forward. Rhino advances and uses smoke. If I go first priest uses clocked by the storm for - 2 to hit on my flyers and rhino. Longfangs disembark first turn and use keen senses and reroll wounds. Helblasters and terminators drop turn 2 near my hqs for support. Intercessors grab an objective

I like the list. I've actually never run 2x wolf flyers at the same time (only own one). I could see this struggling against horde lists, but at least it's got the lascannons to take down large targets. Against another MEQ list, I'd assume this is great.

Personally, I stopped running terminators in 8th. They are just not as good as so many other options in the codex.

For 200 points, you can get STORM BIKERS!
5x Wolf Guard Bikers, all armed with storm shields, storm bolters, TL-Bolters. Lots of Dakka. Run them with the Wolf Lord for the re-roll buff. Hard to kill.

Although I "like" Hellblasters, I pretty much always prefer more Long Fangs instead. I like plasma cannons / lascannons / missile launchers...

None of this is really meant to deter the list, just how I think when list building. I really think this list looks fun.

Do you have more wulfen and terminators? How about a Phobos rune priest? A good combo I’ve been having great success with is the Phobos priest as warlord with master of the vanguard trait. He adds 1 to move, advance and charge of friendly units within 6”. Coupled with the wulfen that’s a 8” rerollable charge! Put the wulfen on the hunt with the priest and drop the terminators next to them. Terminators and hellblasters clear screens or nuke transports. Then terminators charge in 8” rerollable, followed by wulfen and priest with Armor of Russ so you can’t be interrupted. They will crush knights or other large armored foes with impunity. I took 30 wounds off of a reaver titan im a single rd of combat last week with a wulfen charge. Put the bloodclaws in the flyer with the termie battle leader, and the long fangs in the Razorback like you planned. Use jump pack priest to tempest wrath a nasty shooting unit and proc the cloaked strat making the flyer -2 or -3 as well as the Razorback. Sample list below.

Additionally. Do you have a landraider? Spacewolves can make a landraider -3 ! I’ve had success with this and it kills Tau. Move up LR and pop smoke for -1. Then cast tempests wrath or hallucination on a unit for -1 and the proc the cloaked strat for a total of -3 on a T8 vehicle with a 2+ sv. That’s durable.

I think with the latest update, people can interrupt the armour of russ. Such a shame, one of the few really good options the army has
