This is my first official post/list ever! Ive been playing warhammer fantasy for years and had a 40k box set way back in the day as a kid. Wanting to get back into the hobby with some necrons.

As far as this list goes In should start by saying that I want to build to this 2k list as a template. I currently have 56 warriors and 6 Destroyers so far. Ive read the entire necron thread here on dakka and have watched many battle reports. I know DDAs and TBs seem to be really popular right now. I really dont like the models and am not a very great painter/ builder so kinda want to work with easier models to start. I could use any advise. Dynasty choice(Sautekh?) HQ? Too much AT? I dont really know if this list is trash or not. I understand silver tide being a less than competitive choice.

Well, I'd take a Destroyer Lord leading the Destroyer units.
Not sure if you need that many Heavy Destroyers. I guess not.

I'd take 20 Warriors (deep striking) and 2x10 Immortals as troops.

It's not competitive, but it's a really solid list for games down at your local store.

If you wanted to tweak it, you'd drop the warriors for more Tesla Immortals and drop the Heavy destroyers for Doomsday Arks

Dynasty wise (assuming you don't make the above changes), Mephrit is actually decent for warrior blobs. The flyers should be Sautekh so they can ignore the penalty for moving and firing their heavy weapon.

Nephrekh for the Outrider would be good, you'd be able to deepstrike the destroyers to protect them turn 1.

Also, I'd just like to point out, the Outrider detachment isnt legal

Unless it's 2x 2 Destroyers + 1 Heavy Destroyer, you can't run it as an outrider because the full-heavy destroyer units are heavy support

Butother than that ,I have used similar lists myself, and it's a pretty solid choice. I will second switching to Mephrit though, but would consider keeping Sautekh even for the Destroyer unit
