Spearhead deployment has the tip of the arrowhead at 12" from the center and the sides 24" from the side edge. That means on a 6x6 table (72", 36" halves) spearhead deployment is a straight line?

Just double checking to make sure I am not going senile. I know there are other board sizes.

It looks like those diagrams are assuming an 8’ x 6’ table.

At least one source (possibly the Open War card deck) says you should adjust deployment zones to suit the dimensions of your table, so I’d change the distance up the side edge to 12” so that the “no-man’s-land” area remains the same (essentially chopping a foot off the back of each deployment zone). That would (IMO) give a more satisfying result than letting the Spearhead deployment map degenerate into Hammer and Anvil, but whatever you find works is best, I suppose.
