I'm trying to sort out some bits & pieces and one of the games I've got closest to the door utilises puzzle-like tiles to create the board.

I want to get these, ultimately, printed onto a sheet of really thick card (like 4mm thick) and then press-cut into the right shapes, to be pushed out of the sheet by the gamer - like space hulk, x-wing and many other games have. (I originally considered laser cutting but I'd prefer to keep any costs down, so more people can afford the game!)

Has anyone here ever had this sort of thing made for one of their games? is there a name for the really thick card which will aid me in my search?

Cheers!

Here's a link about cutting chipboard and similar materials: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/879954/cutting-chipboard

Also, boardgamesmaker.com will produce custom stuff although they'll charge a fee for making the die.
