So I had the plastic terminator praetor lying about (only mod on it was swapping the combi weapon for a volkite charger), and I was looking to test ways of using contrast paints other than just slathering them on, so... I painted this (in about 2 hours, all told):

I primed it with Vallejo metal spray primer and gave it a nuln oil wash and a highlight. The gold was done with a single layer of Contrast Snakebite Leather and then highlighted. The white strips are P3 Frostbite with a dilluted wash of Contrast Gryph Charger Grey. Face is just Contrast Gilliman Flesh. The cape is P3 Menoth White Highlight, then Contrast Skeleton Horde and highlights of Menoth White Base and Menoth White Highlight. The hazard stripes are a base of Menoth White Highlight with one layer of Contrast Iyanden Yellow. Black is all Contrast Black.

Very effective use of contrast paints. Snakebite over metal makes a nice dull gold

Thanks! I also found out that for gold, the Snakebite is really, really fast, as it covers very well.
