This list is based on the new chaos knight release and the warhammer community showing the correct points for the Knight Rampager.
Any comment and crique is welcome as i want to make the most our of this list
I am strongly considering splitting the two chaos marine squads into four 5-man squads with a reaper chaincannon in each
But i dont know if that would be better or worse as a staying power if i end up against horde armies, but the tactical advantage is greater.

It all comes down to just under 2000pts, just dropping the knight and adding a double power scourge helbrute brings me down to a playable 1750pts army and thinning the Marines down to two 5-man squads with no reapers gets enough space for the Knight to be included in a 1750pts game.

The main idea of the army is quite straightforward, the knight and two maulerfiends aswell as the lord discordant storms forward while the havocs and helbrutes provide fire support as the marines surge towards any objectives and the Sorc drops down where need arises boosting the army and most likely warptimes the Knight forward
in this instance perhaps it is better with four 5-man squads with a reaper in each but i am afriad they get wiped too easy 8 bodies is better than 4 before i start loosing the reapers i reckon

Just my thoughts on a few tweaks I might make.

I generally feel the Disco Lord is better version of the mauler, hence I would drop the sorcerer and 2 maulers in favour of 2 more disco lords, allowing your advancing threat to be 3 disco lord and a rampager. I would also give the detachment the soulforged pack, unlocking the infernal engines stratagem and take the trait for extra 2 inch move to go for a turn 1 charge. You could give 1 LD slaanesh and intox elixir and spend a CP to give the other the khorne keyword and talisman of burning blood and now you got 2 LD who can advance and charge turn 1.

Would break the CSM down to 3 X 5 man bolter squads just for CP, I don't think putting extra guns on them is worth the points.

Also, I would strongly consider hellforged contemptors with either dual butcher cannons or cbeams over the hellbrutes as they are similar in roles.

I didn't work out the points but you might have to tweak it a little to fit. The list does seem a little starved off CP though.

I reworked the list a bit to grab a few extra CP, and it brings me up to 9 CP did it as a battalion and spearhead with the super heavy auxiliary.
This is a bit shy of 2000p with a few points to spare (21 to be exact) and if i want a 1750 list i just drop the squidbrute and a shooty brute wich also brings me 21p to spare, so might add two Heavy bolters for some more punch in the infantry squads

Chaos lord hangs back with the havocs lending his aura while Knight, disco lord and maulers+venomcrawler charges onward the squidbrute splits early for another target and the crawler might do the same, sorc drops in as usual. Also considering if it is better to make sorc MoT rather than MoS for the +1 to smite relic instead of the elixir i have now.
