By 1-irt: Still as long as Hissy keeps showing up this is one of the most entertaining threads ever.

There's an Eldar list in there with 5 Wave Serpents and it is kinda hilarious. I thought I was going hard by running three of them! I'd really like to see how that one plays.

Nasty stuff all round.

EDIT: The list with three shadowswords wouldn't be fun to play against...

Note that the missions are very special and so are the lists.
So transferring these lists to normal games has to be taken with care.

Your yearly reminder that ETC is a very special team format which heavily dictates what sort of lists are run. A good number of them are absolutely not viable outside of a team event with matchup drafting.

EXACTLY. Team events need to be completely discounted for purposes of list and meta discussion since they have a unique format.

I wouldn't say completely. In a team rosters, some list are here to roadblock specific meta lists and are indeed not relevant in solo tournament, but some lists are definitively able to perform in solo too.
Best example, last year the actual french captain won the ESC (the solo tournament) with the same list he played for the ETC.

The vast majority of lists would play fine in a singles event. A small minority are skewed for team environments.

Overall I think the lists are really exciting, most teams have alot of different choices.

Looks like eldar, DE, guard, Tau, orks, knights, and chaos soup remain staples. Surprisingly good amounts of necrons, tyranids/cult, and ad mech.

As expected, marines other than BA are nearly non-existent.
