Ok so this is the hardest difficulty and Ironman is only one constantly updated save. Can't promise i'll win this in one try but that's the fun of it i suppose.

I may have to reign in some of my cursing if luck goes really sour but it should be ok since i've gotten really good at this game after playing several thousand hours on it and getting most of the achievements (and almost all the hard ones). If you have questions about how to handle certain opponents i could give you some advice. The stream is going to be only semi-professional since i'll try to joke around a bit and make silly characters and character backstories i can't show here. I will make characters of you guys but you will have to realize most of these will be absurd and might poke fun at you a bit. I just want you all to know it's in jest and i mean no ill will with it but i do it with friends (that have always consented beforehand) and if you want a character i will to some extent write a silly bio that might tease you. I will only do so if the original person being made fun of is ok with this. Anyway it's just for jokes and the original person will be ok with it.

The only other thing i want to find out is a specific day and time to stream (all these varying time zones and all). I want to work with what's best for as many of you as possible so please tell me what times you're available in Eastern Standard Time and i should be able to get a stream going on when most of you are on.

My only rules are just don't be a jerk and start fights with people. If you start to argue try breaking it up. Politics is discouraged and if it gets too political focus on the game. Believe it or not those are fairly lax rules by twitch standards.

Oh man, Ironman? XCOM2 kicked my ass thoroughly without that.

I keep meaning to get XCom2 but I always miss the sales. Probably watch just to see what's up.

Well if you guys are still up for it i should be ready to play now. Sadly i can only play till about 10 pm when my internet shuts off so maybe a solid 4 hours.

Updates on the stream so far. So i got some luck and some bad luck but only lost one soldier so far (mario dead and yes that mario). I got my 3rd guerilla op and i'm doing that. I'm low on scientists but if i do this mission and win i'll get a scientist as well as getting one just for doing that resistance mission. So a total of 3 engineers and 1 scientist so far with a potential for 3 scientists total within a few days or so which will help research a ton. I've already beaten the hunter (sniper chosen) on the supply raid with minimal issues but i may face the assassin in this one or very soon. They have a habit of being really annoying like that.

I really need to play both of these. I love this game style and I have been slacking super hard.

Not to derail the thread, but has anybody else played Mutant Year Zero? Recently played all the way through it and I really enjoyed it a lot.

I've only ever seen a let's play of Mutant Year Zero and only parts of it. A lot of the story was ruined for me but i asked for it i think.

Anyway i'm about to stream Xcom 2: WotC some more so if you want to watch it go to the twitch channel i linked earlier.
