The thone started off as a Magewrath Throne, which I guess is an Age of Sigmar thing. I cut off the gargoyle heads and the skull on the pillars and replaced them with Genestealer and Carnifex ones. The rest was covered with a bunch of human skulls so I tried to hide them as best I could using the Tyranid 'flowers' that come on Genestealer sprues and some green stuff vines. More skulls were supposed to go near the base so I used blobs of green stuff instead, with emblems from the Genestealer Cult upgrade frame.

The whole model took me a couple of months, although that was very intermittent.
