I've stripped and redone my warpwolf several times this week. It just never got the theme I was going for. So I hauled back and took one of the spare arms and gave it a quicky job of my latest idea.

My concept was.. dogs have pink skin.. sometimes whitish or with patches if you shave them. So Pinkish skin works here. I wanted a more tanned look. I wanted him to look.. hairy. Where he didn't have fur all over he'd likely be "hairy" in the skin areas. So I went back to the stippling technique and got to work.

Colors for the skin were:
Ratskin
Ungor
Kislev
Wash with P3-flesh
Selective Wash with watered down Druchi and Carroburg Crimson (mostly near the spike bases and the vein)
Final stipple was Pallid Witch.. a personal favorite.. but also....

Colors for the Fur were
Sombre Grey
Wolf Grey
... Pallid Witch Flesh

Leather was
Leather Brown
Watered down Snakebite Leather Contrast (I love this stuff)
Stipple Highlight with a mix of.... Pallid Witch Flesh and Leather Brown.

Spikes were
Zandri Dust
Warith Bone
... Pallid Witch Flesh

So.. what do you think?
