Basically I'm building 2 battle groups for Adeptus Titanicus. Legio Mortis and Legio Tempestus.

The problem I have is that the main Knight Households listed for them are Morbidia and Tiranus. Both are red in colour.

I realize that I can just make one darker red and one lighter red, but I want them to be more distinct from each other than that.

Anyone got any ideas of alternative Knight Households I can use that would look good with these Legios and that would make sense, background wise?

I do like Morbidia for Mortis, but would like other options. For Tempestus, I have no idea.

Any help is really appreciated.

Knight Houses fighting alongside titans would usually be aligned with the Mechanicus, so they're most likely to be Mars-colored...

You could always use freeblades on one side. They fight wherever they want so it's easy to justify them sticking around for a while and you get to pick their colors.

Freeblades do sound cool.

What I'm looking for are Knight Households that are associated with the legios I'm painting, if possible.

If I go with Morbidia for Mortis, I could go for Freeblades for Tempestus, but want a household that is as different from Morbidia as possible.

I would rather have a household that already exists and has history with Tempestus. Does that make sense?
