Hello - new user here, apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, couldn't find on a forum search. also apologies if this is the wrong forum!

So I've been out of minis gaming for over 20 years, but WarCry has dragged me back in and I've pre-ordered. My question is, what am I going to need in order to get going? I'm talking in terms of assembling models etc.

I'm happy to play unpainted for a while, but what equipment is absolutely essential for set up? Glue, craft knife? Any specific kind of glue I should look at? What else am I going to be screwed without?

Apologies for the absolute newbie questions, but haven't played bought anything similar since 40k 2nd edition, and mostly a board gamer these days so used to being able to just open up and play - and I know I'm going to be absolutely gutted if I crack open the box on release day and realise i cant play because I'm missing something essential.

Thanks in advance!

Gathering the Informations.

1) Plastic glue. I, personally, like GW's over Testors or some of the other plastic glues.
2) Clippers for removing things from sprues. Again, I personally like GW over some others. From what I saw of the sprues online, there's some very very fine parts that you'll want to be careful clipping off of sprues and the GW ones will let you do that.
3) Knife and files. I don't use GW's knife but their product is just fine. Their files are okay too.
4) A moldline remover. Might sound silly with the knife recommendation, but it's effectively a rounded non-pointy knife.

The models involved with WarCry are not pushfits so you will actually need to glue/cut things appropriately. I'd also suggest that you get some blu-tac or the like for dryfitting some of the models and have some cyanoacrylate based superglue in case there's some models that need a bit quicker cure time than plastic glue.
