This army started out as a concept army of undead ethereal CSM, with the feel of a durable and somewhat shooty army that tries to out annoy the enemies. Main goal would be to lift the total from 1400+ pts torwards 2000.



The whole list is run as Alpha legion. Marines and Cultists are marked as Slaanesh. (except the 20 man blob for melee that is khorne)

5 Chosen, 3 CB, 1 Reaper chaincannon 1 Plasmagun 107 pts.
1 Greater Possesed 70 pts.
1 Greater Possesed 70 pts.

Heavy Support Battalion

Heavy Support:

Venomcrawler 130 pts.
1 Obliterator 115 pts

Suggestion: Second -Battalion:
3 x Lord Discordant: 480 pts.
2x 10 cultists with Autoguns 100 pts

(the 20 man squad get's moved in here, also the Elite detachment get's consolidated)

the Three sorcerers are basically equipped with Warp time, Death hex, the 5+++ power i also always forget the name off, well the usual suspects.)

I am Alpharius is the warlord trait,(for obvious reasons) i'd imagine a soulforged detachment for the Second suggested battalion with the moved in Venomcrawler and oblits

I am mostly concerned about the second suggested battalion and overall thoughts on the list.

For a start... lose the chosen for possessed. It will add some close combat to your army and synergize with the greater possessed.

Also a dark apostle for one of the lords might be appropriate for the -1 the hit prayer.

If, you can go to 2 venom crawlers and 3-man oblit under the lord discordant... or the HQ battalion with 3 lords discordant would be really nasty as an alternative... Run it with the Vigilus formation for additional fun.

As an alternative go with a max squad of possessed with '
a greater possessed, a sorcerer or 3 and a dark apostle all buffing them... say 4+ invul, -1 or -2 to hit plus the buff of the greater possessed... Something tells me that they are going to grab your opponents attention and give the rest of your army a break.

Also a helbrute or two with TL las is good for anti-big firepower especially with the command point option...
