What glue do you use to assembly your miniature's. This is not counting the base's though, i only want to know what you use for the assembling of the model NOT INCLUDING base's.

For plastic, plastic glue. It's quick, easy and gives the strongest bond.

I use super glue because it has a strong enough bond in my opinion and it gives me the option of breaking the bond more easily than plastic glue if I ever decide I want to re-pose or whatever.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH. |

Plastic glue for plastic.
Super glue for small resin or small metal models.
DAP Rapidfuse and metal pins/screws/wires for larger resin models. (This brand does not deteriorate over time like generic super glue typically does.)
Two-part epoxy (like JB Weld) for large metal models.
Hotglue for magents and particularly large terrain projects.

With plastic glue, if you use a little you can reposition some parts as it will still pull apart, but if you dollop it on it will be permanent
The same with super glue

Yeah now i think of it, i drop every model i paint at least once and have pieces flying off and then i have to keep cutting all the old glue so i can re glue it, other wise it wont attach properly.
True story - I dropped My latest model i painted ( Abaddon ), literally 5 times lol. And every single time, his cape came off and his sword came off, so i had to keep re attaching it, and it was such a pain in the ass to do since it wouldn't fit perfectly any more. SO basically if you look at the pictures now you can see its not perfectly uniform because of all the glue that's there. I couldn't remove the glue because it was too complicated to do with out some how damaging the model or making some thing else fall.
So that's why im not going to use super glue in the future.
