Hello all!

I am looking for some suggestions/build up some ideas for what to call my homebrew Space Marine chapter/planet. I'm a big fan of the Maori, Hawaiian, Polynesian, etc. cultures. Anything oceanic/sea based really, Greek Poseidon/Roman Neptune, etc.. Most, if not all of the planet they come from is covered in water, so they would have to build underwater towers/spires in which they live in.

Any suggestions/ideas?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate it!

- Eventide Enclave
- Deepsea Brotherhood
- Scions of Neptulon

Anyone else have any ideas?

I personally like Aquamarines just to trigger some Ultramarine Players

i love this - for a sea themed chapter Aquamarines is perfect - and it can also be the foundation of the paint scheme. wish I'd thought of it when I made my own homebrew chapter!!

The Seamen, can’t believe no ones said that yet!

But seriously but something like the Tridents of the Emperor, the Atlantian Praetors, Salacians (after the Roman goddess of salt water) or just go for the Depth Guard if all else fails.

Also if your go for this theme you have to have atleast on captain called Nemo.

I think that I am going to be using the Maori Moana symbol for my homebrew chapter.

Actually, I really liked your idea for "Tidecallers"

Templarted's suggestion of "Salacians" is pretty good too.

My buddy came up with these guys. You might give them a looksee.

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Volcano Warriors

Sea's Ash (combining ocean and volcano themes)

Emperor's Toa (Emperor's braves)

For fluff you could say they're based out of a double hulled (catamaran) battle barge.
