I've spent that amount of time painting a face before. Welcome to paint life. Looks OK though. My criticisms would be that the blue doesn't look uniform in some parts.. It looks a little dirty or desaturated in some areas. I'd also change the cable colour from green to something else. Grey or yellow/black stripes etc., and maybe try to layer some grey shades into the ultra symbol to give it depth.

I spent that amount of time cutting Inq Convenant's sword down it's spine to make it a katana before!
(he's in my galley if you what to have a look - ignore the crappy painting though please)

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

If spending that amount of time bugs you, I'm not sure what to tell you. Practice will make you faster, but 4 hours for a highly detailed part like that is not bad at all. I spent almost 24 hours painting a cloak recently - the model that went with said cloak took something like 150 hours total spaced out over 3 months. Contrast paints can help with speed as well if you haven't picked them up yet. Even if you just use them for a base color - that's what I do - it cuts down the time by a factor of 2 or 3 since you don't have to do multiple coats of base paint. My first can of grey seer primer was a little finicky but contrast also worked over generic white primer from a home improvement store (or hand-painted base paint too).

The blue and gold have a really nice contrast going on. I particularly like whatever shade of blue that is. Very intense. Also good job on the white. It looks really smooth for how pure white it is.

The scroll is a little hard to tell if it's supposed to be gold or cream. I would clean it up a little more with a brighter highlight and touch up the letters with another round of shade or watered down brown. They look like they could be really eye catching with just a little more work to bring the darks darker and lights lighter.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

This is why I post here. I showed pics to other people and they were very positive about it, but here I got some great critical feedback and suggestions for how to improve. Exactly what I need,

Thanks!!
