Hey all,

for the last few months I have been first playing around with getting AoS interest back in our hobby club with a campaign. The only thing GW offers is the Firestorm campaign box, which had some good ideas, but was not that well thought out as it could be and we ended up deserting it after 5 games or so.

Auticus had made an Advanced Firestorm campaign for his own AoS group and he made a lot of things right that were screwed up originally.
You can find his thread here: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/759935.page

I took a lot of his rules, left some out that didn't felt right with me, added others and streamlined and clarified everything that was confusing (or at least, I hope I did). I've been pouring quite a lot of hours over the last two months into this project and drummed up players in our group.

6 out of 8 players with AoS armies are taking part in it, so I think I did okay for a mainly 40k group.

We made 3 factions, each with 2 players and will be starting in September. Most of what I wanted to provide to the group is finished, I'm currently in the middle of translating the rules into German and the campaign card pack is not yet finished, but the main ruleset is, and I wanted to share it with you.

Ruleset: Firestorm Advanced
Campaign Roster EN
Campaign Roster DE

The original Firestorm map is nice to have and good quality, but we're playing at each other's homes and not in a club, so this was not ideal for us and I wanted another solution.
I converted the map to an online version, which we'll be using.

You can find our progress here: https://firestorm.saier-media.de/index-de.html
Or have a look at the default map without our data: https://firestorm.saier-media.de/default

I have yet a few things to fix here, but for the most part, it works.

Enjoy
