Hey all, I'm considering getting into a small Iron Warrior force, as I've had the Shadowspear box sitting around for a while and want to do something with it. I was also considering doing a converted Khorne Berzerker unit for them as a melee siege breaker unit, but not sure how I'd go about it. I was thinking of maybe using the new normal marine kit but adding chain axes to them, but not sure that would look particularly different or special.

Anyone got any ideas? I'd like to have them in the new scale and style of all the new stuff so they don't look out of place.

Thanks in advance

Use the new models. Give them chain axes and get some khornate shoulder pads or helmets. You could use AoS khorne stuff too.

I'd go for the new CSM kit definitely, and probably go with a 30k upgrade kit from FW to kit them out:

The breacher shields are very Iron Warriors, and would definitely make your berserkers stand out, and there's a big flat space on them for Khornate icons to be painted on. Rules-wise obviously the shields would be ignored.

Forgeworld also sell a chainaxe set but you can get those in lots of places.

New CSM kit, boarding shields, Chainaxes, maybe some MKIII helms and I think you'd have some pretty neat and unique looking berserkers.

Do them as assault servitors! Chainaxe and drill bit arms, power armored torsos, peasant pants with bare feet. Some tubes and wires sticking out of their heads and the narrative is set.
Fits into the Iron Warriors aesthetic like a glove.

Thanks for the replies guys. I like the sound of those assault servitors!
