Hi all,
Following an absolute steal on five boxes of Marines on FB marketplace, I thought I'd start a little blog to help me clear through the backlog it has now created.
A little intro about me, a returning wargamer following a 7 year hiatus. The the first minis were already in my to-do list so I thought I'd clear these ones out first!

The coloured backpacks are an interesting way of differentiating units, I like it! They’re all looking good so far!

Thanks Quanar! At their conception all those years ago, I had a limited colour palette and skill (not that it has improved much over that time), so had to think of way to differentiate the units as you say.
I spent the weekend assembling and removing mould lines, so a new update should land soon!
Hope you had a good weekend and thanks for checking out the video

I started doing that with my chaos marines. Different otherwise identical squads had colored markings applied to the backpacks because that was the most visable spot when you are playing, it wasn't nearly as obvious as yours since it was an accent color to previously painted backpacks.
it works.

Great to hear I'm not the only one who does this haha! At the outset I didn't really have table top identification in mind, but as the army developed it very much became that! Automatically Appended Next Post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCSmKKDWRfs
For a full overview of the army, please click on the following video. Since this was published I've added four more squads, but I need to finish the bases and an update video shall be posted.
Cheers,
Clarkey

Hey all,
Apologies for the quietness on the forums recently. Over the past couple of months, I have experienced a flare of my Crohns disease, and it has really knocked me for six. However, during this time, I've come to realise the importance of having this thing we call our hobby. As such, I thought I'd write a short letter expressing this.
