Bit of backstory, I've been away from 40k for a while, about four years, and wanted to get back into it with some friends. I played IG and used Wargames Factory Shock Troops as my guardsmen, as I really liked the look and their Killzone vibe. Unfortunately during my absence, it seems they have discontinued these models as well DreamForge has stopped making their Eisenkern Stormtroopers which were the stormtroopers for my army. I still want to play Guard but since I can't really expand my army I was looking to make a new Guard force. Enter the Romans.

I'm a pretty big history nerd, especially about Rome. So I figured I'd try and combine the two and make a Roman Guard unit. Victrix has a good set of Roman Legionaries and due to all the torsos lacking arms, it would not be too hard to swap in lasguns. So my question is, does anyone know of bits with exposed arms holding lasguns, or autoguns if it came to that? All help is appreciated, and have a good day.

Catachans have exposed arms, no?

Is there a permanent stickied thread for Chaos players to complain every time someone/anyone gets models or rules besides them? If not, there should be.

Look at madrobot miniatures, they recently released some IK household guards that may be suitable for your use.

I have no direct experience but my instinct from years of buying historical figures is that any arm sized to fit GW bodies/weapons is going to look ridiculous on the vast majority of kits.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”
