Feels random. Some new units for empire and lizards (again) and some vaguely recognizable character names. New factions, so not sure if a meaningful empire update (main faction) is included.

Pluses: archers and razordons.

Minuses: better archers and better kroxigors.

Depends on perspective: dread saurians, war wagons. Lots of war wagons.

Some odd sounding mechanics and... I'd rather hear things about warhammer 3.

Did some digging, and there is FreeLC and a Empire rework as well.

The FreeLC is... Gor-Rok, bringing the lizards to a sudden total of 6 LLs.

The mortal empire's map is changing mostly around the Empire (and, for unexplained reasons, Albion) with Solland and new regions, new mountain passes and 'Empire Fort' settlements which act like the High Elf Gates.

Gelt has moved to Solland and has his own faction (Golden Order). And new Wood Elf and Greenskin factions have magically arrived in Drakwald and the Wasteland.

Also the Empire offices are getting kicked, and a new 'Elector Counts' system is in place (13 positions, with rewards and exclusive units. Runefangs for days. Prestige and authority I think are sort of replacing confederations.
