I don't have the Dark Angels book, but which ruleas are you looking for?
Rapid Fire rules are in the rulebook, as are the rest of the weapon profile details.
Failing that, drop into your local GW or FLGS. I'm sure they'll explain what you're after.

Look at the rules section instead of the lore section? Page 174 is when the core rules start.

im looking into the section after the lore, it explains a phase but doesn't give any stats for boltguns etc. the codex just refers to the rule book, ill give it another look over.

The stats for weapons are in the codex/index for your army, not the BRB

Is it definitely the current 8th Edition Codex? I don't have any of the Dark Angels books, but Codexes for previous editions directed you to the main rulebook for some of the common weapons. In 8th they're all in the Codex.

Look at the cover of your codex.
Is it full art corner to corner? If so, that's 7th ed. Go buy a new codex.
Or does it have a border around the picture? If so that's 8th ed.

If it doesn't look like the picture on the GW web store, you've got an old version of the codex.
They refuse to put printing year or version numbers in their books.
Wave it at a GW store employee and demand satisfaction.

Also, this.
All weapon specs are in the unit's datasheet, or in the glossary at the back of the codex. There are (almost) no stats in the rulebook (check that against the website, too.)

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |
