Subject: Assassins in Space marines - No Angels of Death ?

Hey guys,
Sort of confused on the new Angels of Death rule for Adeptus Astartes. It says if you have a battle forged army your units only receive bonus if every unit from your army is space marines, or basically has the Angel of Death rule. So does this mean all my assassins cant be included now if I want the combat doctrines? Seems kind of silly and I was wondering if there was some info out on this, since I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering about this.
Also, say I have a battalion - full space marine, then I add the assassin in separate - does this mitigate the problem? I haven't played a single game of 8th edition yet, so my apologies if it seems like a silly question.
Thanks!
I want to field my lovely painted Eversor :(

See the new FAQ. It's either an assassin or AoD.

AoD has nothing to do with having a "pure" SM army, you're thinking of Combat Doctrines. If you include an Assassin in any way in a SM army you'll lose Combat Doctrines because the Assassin doesn't have Combat Doctrines.

There's nothing stopping you fielding your lovely painted Eversor with a Marine army, it's perfectly legal. All you lose is combat doctrines that give very specific buffs. No big deal. Also it's not silly, it's intentional balance.

Can't you still use the special strategy to 'summon' an assassin of your choice? It isn't part of your army list then.

Whilst not part of your army list as soon as reinforcement points are used so get the assassin, then the assassin is added to your army, thus the entire army nolonger has the Angels of Death/ combat Doctorines rule. So whilst a doctorine may be active your army nolonger meets the requirements to gain the benefit of that doctorine.

No - that was specifically called out in the FAQ:
Q: Does adding an Officio Assassinorum model to my army with the ‘Operative Requisition Sanctioned’ Stratagem prevent the rest of my army from using Combat Doctrines?
A: Yes. Note that this model remains part of your army if it is destroyed.

No, for two reasons. Firstly the stratagem explicitly states to add the Assassin to your army, so now not every unit in the army has Combat Doctrines. Secondly, the SM FAQ explicitly states so.
