Gold is nice with the whole model, red is too much red I think, as a normal BA, but baby blue, that is almost divine. A great way of going at it.

Ok, so lots of little updates today...
Most of this stuff is Work in Progress, nothing complete so please don't think I've just regressed in my ability to paint
Just wanted to show you the direction I was going with the banner... Obviously needs finishing (Ignore the SM altogether haha )
And I think it was Jackal who said the weapon on the bike looked a bit bare, so I (badly) added some detail there...
4th Guardsman is finished apart from the wings which need highlighting...
Oh and the wings aren't finished but I did make a start on the highlighting on the back... but what do you guys think of the different look? The blue is a LOT darker...

hmm.... you have been busy indeed!
i think i am right in assuming the banner is still pre wash? it is all done very sharp and good looking and when it is been washed i bet it wont remind me a bit of an iced cake
but i think the puple is an excellent color choice...
the added lighntnings to the helberd and the sword on the minis looks really good... is that some ice blue over some black lines? cool idea...
as for the wings... i think these then need with the stronger done highlights you did a blue wash and you are done... after that wash they wont be that hard anymore and more blending in with the overall structure of the wings and this will make it look very good!

Looking nice Bubble! Just have to finish the one wing, and also I would suggest the joints be painted another color to offset that shiny gold!

They are looking very nice bubble I agree with what Vik says about doing a final blue wash over those wings to blend them together a gentle not a heavy wash should work just right.
Love the power weapon effects looks really nice.
The banner will need a wash as well, I've never painted one of these banners before must give it ago some time.
