Hello,

I've created some alternative rules, designed to be fast, and simple, It's called FastHammer, and it is fully open source.
Rules are only 3 pages, so it should be easy to give it a try.

Start building your army in the army builder (no account needed, list is saved in the url itself):
https://kdj0c.gitlab.io/fasthammer/ArmyBuilder.html

And read the latest version of the rules here:
https://kdj0c.gitlab.io/fasthammer/Rules.html or in pdf https://kdj0c.gitlab.io/fasthammer/Rules.pdf

That should be enough to try them !

The project is hosted on gitlab, and is fully open-source, so anyone can contribute, or fork it to create its own game system.
https://gitlab.com/kdj0c/fasthammer

There are already 7 factions, (the one I'm playing with friends), but as it's open-source, anyone can add a new faction, by editing some yaml files.

The goal of this project is to have :
- Balanced units cost (same algorithm is used to compute the cost of all units/upgrades/weapons, and a weapon hitting on 3+ will cost twice the same weapon hitting on 5+ because statistically it does twice the damage).
- Only a few special rules, we try to keep only the most important special rules, to keep the game fast.
- Simple Army Builder: to save your time when making list.
- Faster play with alternate activation, so you won't sleep anymore during your opponent phases.
- Use the Software Development Continuous Integration concept to have always the latest version of the rules (instead of tons of FAQ)

I use them to play with friends, but I though some other might be interested in.

one of the list I played recently :https://kdj0c.gitlab.io/fasthammer/ArmyBuilder.html?name=Awakening&army=wgABCgGfgGgGgBBgHAgCBgNgOgQgLgL
