My first try at a monster mash in tyranids I know I spent a lot on upgrades but idk felt right to do except maybe flesh hooks but it would just be another ripper anyways. I know my long range is non existent hopping old one eye and friends can do my anti tank duty + the tyrant. Any thoughts is this okay for casual games at a local gw?

For casual games this would be alright but be prepared to lose a lot. I play monster nids myself and it's hard to overcome the ranged firepower most lists pack.

In terms of changes I'd suggest dropping toxin sacs on everything, it looks good but it's just not worth it. Same with flesh hooks. I'd also look at getting rid of the warriors, they really under perform at everything which is a shame because I love them myself.

The swarmlord is a massive fire magnet, anyone who knows about him will focus him down on turn one, he's just too slow. Also, you're running OOE with no fexes in the list?! They are brilliant this edition. I run him alongside 5-6 screamer killers. 2+ to hit on the charge refilling all failed hits.

I think this kind of list just gets out shoot. Warriors are not in a good place. Points, to output. to defensive ability the are the definition of average.

I wouldn't recommend this even for casual games.

You don't do damage, you can't take damage, can't manage board control, you've got almost nothing that can quickly take objectives, and can't stand up to opposition if it does.

A bad list will slowly take this apart, an average list will do it quickly.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

If I've added it up correctly, you appear to have spent 98 points solely on toxin sacs, adrenal glands, and flesh hooks. That's a lot of points.
'Boys before toys' is the old adage that applies here I think.
I know it's fun equipping your guys with all the cool upgrades, but most of that stuff isn't actually very useful. You're usually better off putting more bodies on the table, and only taking an upgrade when you have a specific goal in mind for it.
