i was mostly interested due to the fact that we don't really see all that many Daemon alternatives.
Which is odd, because I've always found plenty (for conversions, not necessarily in-fluff alternatives). When I used to play Daemons, most of my army was conversions for Warhammer Fantasy/AOS models.

Chaos Warhounds make good Deamon beasts
Beastmen Gors are great lessor daemons (just paint red for 'Letter, pail with dark purple fur for Slaanesh, etc)
Beastmen Minotaurs for Daemon Princes
As well as Varghiests/Horrors: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Flesh-Eater-Courts-Crypt-Haunter-Courtier

Assembled just right (with maybe a bit of conversion) and painted up right, those could easily look like Ruinstorm Brutes

I like the ideas, altough i allready use beastmen for my R&H army as regular units the idea behind them is more to be summoned big mean things, for some unaligned /khorne melee.
That said, an armored bloodletter would really tickle my fancy.

Doesn't even need the hellblade or typical bloodletter head.
If you want a big-bad unaligned/khorne monster, I highly recommend: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Warherd-Bullgors-2018

If you already have Gors in your army, those guys will fit right in. And they come on the same size bases as the Ruinstorm Brutes

Fair enough. I try to stick with GW models when I can, but if you're already using those, I guess you need to branch out
