I'm finally tired of all the nonsense GW is pulling in 8th edition. Tired of every monthly release being better and shinier than the last one. With the new Marine Codex i've had enough. The Power Creep is unbearable. They introduced so many mechanics never to be seen before in 8th like:
- first Turn deepstrike
- disembarking from a moving transport
- strength x3 ccw - a metric Ton of Special Rules for each underfaction
The Power Spiral ist Just moving too fast for me. The Meta is shifting monthly and the Army you built Yesterday can very well be the Underdog tomorrow. I sold off my remaining Stuff and I'll not be touching 40k in the foreseeable Future. The Speed at which the game is shifting is just bonkers. It wasnt helpful that i was playing in a rather competitive group as you'd have to constantly keep up with the newest Toys.
I'm gonna move off to Bolt Action. Much more relaxed with better and more streamlined Rules. I just cannot stand the Special snowflake rules bloat anymore.
