Are there any good websites to find clubs etc local to me (uk)?

Local games workshop seems to mostly either put stuff on for kids or during normal working hours. Or let you book a table.

If you're in or around London, you can join the London Wargaming Guild, who play multiple times a week for different games. They play in places like 7 Dials, Dark Sphere and Bad Moon Cafe.

There's also a player finder here on Dakka should you want to meet people on an individual basis.

Google suggests an active Peterborough club (Peter borough Wargames Club), an annual show (Hereward Wargames Show, tun by the same group) and a café (Den Café, with links to a calendar and local groups) .....

Broadsword gaming in Grantham has an active facebook page...
