Hello. Is it possible to target a friendly unit with Fleshy Abundance if the unit has full health ? I know nothing would healed but I am wondering if this was a legal way to trigger Rotigus’s mortal wound on successful casts? It just states the target as being a friendly Nurgle Daemon Unit.

Page 133 in Codex Chaos Daemons 8th Ed answers this question.

Ask yourself two questions to get your answer:

What does the power target?

Does it mention anything about having to be wounded?

If you have a valid target and the second answer is "no" then you can use the power.

As DeathReaper has given the formal answer, I will give a slightly less formal answer.

In short, you have permission to attempt the power, and the unit is a legal target. Since the power does not require the unit to be wounded, it does not need to be wounded to cast the power.
