Greetings.

Does anyone on here know if psychic awakening will lead to new codexes for Drukhari and Craftworlds?

I'd guess something along those lines. The marine books definitely have an 8.5 vibe, the hype is all about new rules etc for every faction so it gives them a chance to reset the rules for everyone alongside the new marine stuff.
I doubt it will be new codexes per se, more campaign books with unit updates.

Of course they will. They'll redo all the codexes now, and give you the little mini-codexes alongside each major release. Abandon all cash ye who enter!

Well, I'm a bit skeptical. We have seen what they did for Ynnari.
From very powerful to no longer playable in competitive games.
And the designer was Phil Kelly as always when it comes to Eldar.

Since most of you voted no. Would you say it is good to go and buy the current codex and datacards and units from the book?

no one has any clue, that said GW typically releases a codex if a army got a sizable release. one or two new units don't useally cut it.

case in point, admech got their new tank but no new 'dex.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I would suggest avoiding fincast units.
Mostly because I always advise avoiding fine cast units...

Avoiding finecast is never a bad choice.

That's the most fitting description of GW's business model, ever.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
