Help me decide between 2 lists for an upcoming GT event.

One list has 2 Knights, Armiger, Death Guard, and Daemons.

One list has a Castellan.

I reeeeally wanna run the Castellan. But the first list seems much more flexible.

Nurglings sit on Objectives. Cha gecaster hides all game and gives me a Gaze of Fate reroll. Prince can Miasma the Deredeo, or himself. Take the Suppurating Plate relic on the Prince. Travel up with the PBCs. Poxbringer follows using Fleshy Abundance to heal wounds.

Knights barrel down the field. Vows and additional Relic depending on matchup. War dog takes Knower of Profane Secrets for a free CP. Forsaken and Fugue damnations. shouldnt affect the Armiger.

I've played this list since and had some success.

So help! Which would be more fun to TAC?

I think your main problem will be that, in both lists you have no screens. You'll have to save CP for the reroll hits strat for when your Knights inevitably get charged.

Question, as I'm also building a few knights atm: why do you like Iconoclast better than Infernal? The Infernal strats are really good, specifically the "eat models" and "get back up".

The Iconoclast strat that's most attractive, "only wound on 4+" only actually gets rid of 25% of Str 9-15, and 40% of Str 16. That helps a lot against volcano cannons...but how many of those are there at a tournament?
Why, in your opinion, is taking that one Vow on a single Knight worth losing out on the Infernal buffs and strats?

I go Iconoclast for the Veil relic, that saves a Knight from rotating, and in ITC games you are basically giving away bonus points wounding yourself if they take Headhunter or Titan slayer, which they will be.

I could be wrong though, and the Kill or be killed nature of Kights could justify self harm. I just hate making my opponents job easier. I almost never risk overcharging plasma for this reason.

Iconoclast gives your knights speed and attacks. 1 extra attack is 3 extra stomps on your dual gun knights

If I can get a game this weekend, I will give Infernal a practice run.
