So specific example:
Taking a NURGLE Detachment that mixes both DAEMONs and DEATH GUARD.

2 DG DPs of Nurgle (because I want Hateful Assault and Death to the false Emperor)
2x3 Nurglings
20 Plague Bearers

So I can still claim to be Battle Forged and gain +5CP because all units in the Battalion are NURGLE (also CHAOS, but CHAOS cannot "bind" a detachment together)
I will NOT gain Daemonic Legions or Loci since the DPs do not have the Daemon FACTION keyword, even though they do have the DAEMON keyword
I will NOT gain Inexorable Advance or Plague host because my Troops are not DEATH GUARD
I will NOT have access to DAEMON or DG stratagems either

But I'm fine with not having those since I'm not building to take advantage of any of those rules
I WILL have access to DEATH GUARD WL traits and relic if one of the DG DPs is chosen to be my WL

I'm just checking that all of this is still correct or if I'm missing an FAQ that says otherwise

As long as the NURGLE is a Faction Keyword for every unit (I think it's always a Faction Keyword but you never know) then that is indeed correct. You are correct (iirc) that the Warlord Trait and Relic are only dependent on the Warlord, not detachments.

Thanks. I'm toying around with adding a Nurgle detachment to my Red Corsairs CSM to play at home. Both my boys play Marines, so I want to keep Death to the false Emperor on as many units as possible, especially a tanky DG DP with Revoltingly Resilient WL trait and Suppurating Plate relic armour.
But I also want to add some Nuglings since they are surprisingly durable for their cheap cost and can deploy close as a distraction.
