I'm currently scratch building a 40K thunderhawk gunship (log thread & pics here) inspired by the new forgeworld model. There's no papercraft templates for the new design that I can find so I'm mainly eyeballing it and using some old templates for reference.

I can't make up my mind on what size the main wings should be though, so need some help deciding before I go cutting them out and building them. Got 2 quick mock-ups cut to help me decide, but I'm still unsure, so second opinions please.

The plan is to have them canted like the FW model/ Storm raven instead of straight like the old design.

Longer wings at 165mm long

Shorter wings, 135mm

Forgeworld top down pic for ref.
