Nosto7 shared some trees he bought and it inspired me to search for my own. Thanks for the inspiration Nosto7!
Anyway, Bought some palm trees cheap (like 7$ for 10 or something). Here they are all based up and drybrushed for a little depth. I painted the bases I made (some old flying bases and cut wood) on pictures from my local area. Sandy/rocky tops with cut aways of redder sandstone underneath. Camera doesn't show all the detail but whatever. I make most of my terrain modular in this way so it can be used to outline a forest or whatever. My table mostly plays Area terrain rules so this type of modeling works best as a combination of looks good and still functional for moving etc.

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.
