I know a guy selling his SM from last edition and this is what he has to sell plus 12ish special weapons. Originally he had 3 Drop Pods, but I found he sold them. The Dreadnought weapons are what I think in see in the pictures.

Is this a good starting list / jump off point?

Currently I am thinking about going Salamanders for all of the rerolls and combat squading the Heavy Weapons teams so that there are 2 HW per team.

So I have been looking at the leaked info and plan to run Hestan, the new guy (Adrax Agatone) and a Librarian.

Drakeskin and Fire Shield will make something tough as hell, I don't know what yet. Also there is a tactic that draws fire (Self Sacrifice). So then I can put something in cover, buff it up and let it take for my other stuff. Suggestions for a unit to do that?

Also plan to add Flamers and Meltas since with TD they get +1s to wound.

you will probably want to score a lieutenant and a chaplain (the non-primaris versions that can ride your fleet of trans[ports) to send forward with your flamers. see litany "storm of fire".

For sacrifice unit, you want stormshields. That's either vangaurd veterans (which can fly) or a ten man company veteran squad (which can't fly, but can carry a flamer or melee and a stormshield each, and can ride a rhiino).
