I see that this book was teased years ago been I can't find any record of anything actually happening with it. Anyone know anything?

Where ever the Emperor needs his eyes

Presumably canceled as all of the Custodes stuff that would be in it has been released as a PDF.

As for the Sisters of Silence, they are stuck in the same limbo as the 30k Mechanicum Units. Eventually, maybe... If we are lucky.

Argh! Of course they did!

Basically what happened is they were rushed to do 8th and other projects. As a result, we just have a PDF for some Custodes goodies. I'm sure SoS will get one in the future but it isn't exactly in high demand.

SoS in this month's Dwarf.

A rule that lets them work with Custodes might be in there. There may also be clarifications about how they are fielded with Astra Telepathica. I understand why they are part of the Telepathica, but I always thought it was a weird fit because they nerf their own army.

If I had to guess, they probably assumed these guys would be able to mix with any other imperium faction, until they had to nerf those rules.

The main 40k studio taking over the rules writing for all FW 40k units is what happened.

Thus you have the PDF instead.

But that's the reason why they are Astra Telepathica.

Their role is to serve as, effectively, a checkmate on the Psykers that the Astra Telepathica employs.

As well as to ensure that the Astra Telepathica is receiving psykers to employ in the first place.
