Cheers Hellebore! 2nd ed Space Marine - it gets a bad press in some quarters but we've always enjoyed it

A great report looks like a lovely setup!

Can I ask what the flashy cotton explosion markers are (are they home-built, something on a bulb?) They look very cool regardless!

I like 2ed - not as much tactical depth as Armageddon but its quicker to play (especially for larger games) and I think in many ways is probably the 'main' epic game - if you think in terms of releases and period of time that it was a core game for GW.

Thanks Pacific! Explosion markers are tea lights, with cushion stuffing hot glued on and dusted with black spray paint. Check out Mel The Terrain Tutor on YouTube, he has a fantastic video on how to do this and it's where we nicked the idea :-)
