I'm trying to develop a scenario for me and my sons for this weekend while we display our Armies on Parade. Since most of our minis will be on display, that leaves us with few models to play.

Here is what I was thinking:
Each of my sons will have 1 DW Terminator Caption (SB/Relic balde) and 1 Fortis team like so:
4 Intercessors with ABR, Sgt with ABR/Power fist
1 Inceptor with Auot Bolters & 1 Flamer Aggressor

VS

6 respawning Nurglings
4x 10 respawning Daemonettes
2 Greater Possessed
2x 1 Obliterators (dropping in turn 2)

Respawning units drop in the turn after they have been destroyed (as if using the Daemonic Ritual rules). There is no cap of these respawns
The goal of the mission is for each DW player to gain VPs for each model destroyed (or for the GPs & Oblits 1VP per wound dealt)

The DW player with the most VPs at the end of the game wins. The game ends when all the DW models are destroyed.
------------
Here's what I need help with: What condition can I add that can end the game BEFORE all the DW models die so they can have a major victory?
I thought about when the GPs & Oblitz are killed but that might not take long if they DW get into melee with them

What do you think about having a 1W Character model that the DW needs to either shoot at or assault in order to end the game? But the Horde of respawning Daemons prevents them from getting to that Character marker. I could give it a 6" move and keep it away from the DW Marines, forcing the Marines to push through the horde (properly cinematic)
We wouldn't even need to give the model stats, if at anytime it can be shot at or engaged in melee, Game Over

Thoughts?

If, at any point, there are no Deamons on the table, the incursion has been defeated!

This could apply to the time between a respawning unit bring killed, and it respawning. Effectively, it means there must be a daemon on the battlefield for respawning to occur.

Stick 4 "chaos breach" objectives on the table, 1 in the center of each quadrant. Field 2 squads of 3 nurglings and 2 squads of 20 daemonettes. Each of those 4 units is tied to one of the 4 objectives and can only respawn while their objective is not being controlled by the marines.

This creates a cooperative win condition where each of the 4 marine units will need to be controlling an objective to get a "greater victory." Preventing respawns is a pretty good reason to hold objectives, but you can grant VP for holding objectives too. Actually controlling 4 objectives with 4 units requires you spread your forces thin making it a difficult proposition.

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

I like these ideas. Maybe a combo?

Have 2 objectives in the Daemon DZ, each is related to 2 of the Deamonette units. If the DW marines can reach and hold those, those 2 units cannot respawn. So if both are held, all 4 units are unable to respawn.
The game ends if either all DW Marines are killed or if there are 0 Daemon models on the table at any time
