It took a bit of saving and weeks of work but I finally have a finished Thunderhawk. My painting skills really aren't up to par for such an epic model but I figured that no one has ever painted one in Sky Sentinel colours before so I wanted to share it.
The dark blue paint was especially difficult to work with for some reason - it had a weird gel-like consistency that make it really tough to mix or apply evenly. This made me reluctant to take too many detail shots. Still, I had a lot of fun with this project and maybe there are some fans of giant vehicles from obscure chapters out there
