Hey,

i got a question regarding the Daemons of Chaos army rule regarding their instability test.
It says the do this test when losing a combat instead of a normal break test. So after taking the test, the unit does or does not gets some more wounds, but does the unit flee afterwards?
After reading it my take was the unit stays in combat until its wiped of the board, but takes extra wounds every time it loses a combat phase. Similar to Undead models. Am i wrong, did i overlook something?

Greetings

Correct, Daemons do not flee. They just take additional wounds based off the results of the instability test.

It's time to go full Skeletor

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

There is more to it than that. The full rules are on page 26 of the Daemons of Chaos Army book.

1. Take a Daemonic instability test instead of a break test. If the unit is Unbreakable ignore the test results.

2. If a double 1 is rolled restore all casualties from this melee phase including all attached characters. This can restore a character that was killed this melee phase.

3. If a double 6 is rolled remove the unit, it does not mention characters ( I do not know if characters are spared)..

4. Otherwise take one unsaveable wound for every point by which the test is failed by.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
