It says that it builds on the Strontium Dog skirmish rules, but are they compatible? I was curious about that game, but being American, I had no idea who any of the characters were. I'm slightly familiar with Judge Dredd though.

Not in the market for another game I won't have time to play, but it's probably worth keeping an eye on this.

Ooooh I really like the limited edition mini.

Here’s hoping Warlord makes all four Dark Judges. My ThreeA figures are amazing but they never made Judge Fire.

I can't speak for Warlord, but Judge Dredd: Helter Skelter by Osprey will be getting a Dark Judges expansion in May. Don't know about Helter Skelter, but the original Wildlands miniatures are about 28mm.

'As well as a softback copy of the rules, you'll receive 10 miniatures (in our new Warlord Resin)'

Anyone have any experience of this 'new' resin? If so, what's it like?

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

...and does "Warlord Resin" = PVC (of varying actual quality)?

Yep, I would like that answered as well. Given the price, one would hope it is not a pvc like material. I have dealt with proper resin from Warlord before and it has always been of a high quality.

I like the idea of a judge dredd miniature game. But not these sculpts, if they did a new line in plastic with a better look i'd consider it. But to me this looks like an old game that was brought back. It just looks dated. Shame too cause I do like warlords bolt action plastics, like the US paratroopers and germans.

I'm open to it, but that is not cheap by any measure. $365 for a miniatures game? That would make GW blush.

What the actual !? $365 for 30 figures that look like they were sculpted in 1990? What am I missing here? They can't be serious.

Well, you have to factor in that bundle also includes the $120 (wtf?) collector's edition rulebook. It's only about $180 if you buy everything separately on Miniature Market.

Considering that the comics on that page are also about 50% more expensive than their usual retail price, I can only assume Warlord is using the same fantasyland pound-to-dollar conversion that GW uses.

It just so happens that I have my old Judge Dredd Kickstarter stuff on sale in the Swap section...

$500.00 for the lot, and only dropped once!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

These look like the old minis to me? I'd considered picking some up in the past, but they just don't hold up to some of the stuff coming out these days.

Anyone know if the rule book in the starter set is the same as the $40 rulebook you can get separately?

Are these Strontium Dog rules any good? I have the old JD rule book I thought was pretty solid
