Had fun with this list today. I decided to break away from chaos knights and try out more pure marines. For some reason I had been overlooking the Flawless host. Man they are great for the Discos and heros...basically double Death to the false emperor. If I ever get around to buying bikes I'd swap the chosen for them and put the lord on a bike as well for that suicide plasma strike. They still worked out great with the champ and lord with them in the rhino. 1 turn to waste an iron hands repulsor was quite nice. I made one of the disco lords my warlord with the Flawless host warlord trait and gave him the flawless cloak. He averaged around 12 extra hits a round... I made the spearhead detachment Soul forged. Some peo people le been sleeping on the master of possessions. Using the sacrifice power to take 1 wound from one of the Discos to give 3 to the other is dirty.

Further notes-

I had been previously just ran all Corsairs rules...missing out on an extra free relic sucks as well as not having move+advance+charge built into the discos. This version is definitely lacking a few CP and uses more CP but daemon engines with all these attacks getting so many extra hits for death of the false emperor and flawless host trait is definitely a good trade off. I think my decision to drop knight allies to take more demon engines who get buffs and heals that cost no CP was a good decision. Next weekend I'm going to swap the Chaos Lord or master of possession that runs with the chosen and try out a Dark Apostle. Though a hammer lord with 2 to 4 extra hits per round in melee is hard to beat out.

Anyways tell me what you think. Got any ideas to improve this? I love trying new stuff. Been pondering using the Heretics & Renegades for a spearhead Detachment to get 2 basilisk and a wyvern. Costs about 350 points for the 3 artillery pieces and 2 commanders.

I have had an idea like this floating around, but all of mine are Nurgle marked, with a Nurgle Daemon detachment including Epidemius.

Maybe build in some Daemon synergy? Either Nurgle or Tzeentch (Flickerfire on some of those units would be pretty great).

I would like to try demons but I dont have any and I like endless cacophony and the icon of excess. I started with chaos knights then added corsairs for CP battery now I like this style list. I have a decent amount units that are flexible and redunantthat cant be one rounded without committing committing a decent o ih not of force towards. I still like the Moirax wardogs with gravs and volkites. My main issue with them is I feel the stratagems I can use with them are a waste on them but those gravs rock

I've been trying out the Lightning Locks and liking those. I think the grav guns are built to destroy Centurions and Broadsides...I can't really think of much else that has a 3+ or 2+ and is T5. And since they're so specialized, I prefer the exploding hits.

The Volkites look fun, but -1AP just isn't enough. I want -2!!
