So I've been theory crafting some more lists and this one came to be. Obviously built around fast assault and having chain reactions going off. I'm just worried about my lack of units and getting the Possessed where they need to go. The Spartan is quite the beast, but I'm still worried about it getting blown off the table turn 1. If the Possessed and crew do connect though, I'm fairly certain they could wipe anything off the board in one turn... So as always, please comment and critique! ps. would the Cursed Earth spell count as an aura for the purpose of the Flawless Cloak relic?

Possessed not mark of the khorne with no reroll ability for charges?

I mean i get why people want to make Possessed work but i feel like you'd be better off not using them.

Yeah I think the possessed and spartan is a trap. It's nearly 900 points you could take 3 x Keeper of secrets and Syll'esske for the same price. Or another Lord Discordant and 3x venomcrawlers, 3x maulerfiends with lasher tendrils.

Think either option has more threat and durability. With one big unit of possessed you're open to lots of shenanigans, like doom and jinx or movement blocking.

I would think that “cursed earth” and relic will work as its an aura given from a psychic power. Nice catch man!

There was a possessed list that did ok in a tournament a short while back. It was alpha legion possessed so move 9” before battle then move and then warp time them so nice bit of movement there. If you change a herald of Slaanesh to a DP/ keeper or give it a mount for more movement and advance then your possessed marked Slaanesh can advance twice with warptime.

Only thing is, you probably going to hit a screen and then be open for shooting.

Duly noted! After thinking about it some more, that although this list or something close to it would be really fun in some cases, I'm going to go with my other option, which is a IH dreadnought list. That list would probably be more competitive while still incorporating units I love(dreadnought lol), and a whole lot more reliable.
