What are some mounts (in the fluff) that Eldar and Dark Eldar use that are not covered in their codexes? Is there any example of dragons, horses, giant eagles, or anything else?

I am thinking of making a few Eldar/Dark Eldar conversions (I want mounts and no helmets...those awful, awful helmets...) into something more resembling battle weary techno-elves than their normal depiction. Doable or not?

there's some interesting stuff in that article, lol. The exodites have dinosaur riders and...then they jump right up to Eldar Knights? As in, Wraithknights?

Also, Tribal Feudalism was settled upon by this hyper-advanced spacefaring race as..the most efficient way to exploit the natural resources of the planets they're on? 1, why is the main concern of this tiny tribal state who has a whole planet to work with "efficiently exploiting natural resources" and 2, why is a system of feudal fealty the most efficient in any way shape or form?

"Ok, space folks, good job recognizing the descent into chaos our hyper-advanced post scarcity society was undergoing. From now on, we shall live where life is not easy! We shall fight for survival! We shall be dedicated to peaceful cooperation, and we shall protect this land we have chosen with nothing but our wits, hardscrabble determination, dinosaurs, and these giant titan warmachines that Sister El'sandra brought along."

*murmurs of 'good job, El'sandra' throughout the crowd*

"So, what is the best way for us to subsist off of the natural resources of this world? Any suggestions?"

"Fracture into tribes!"

"Birthright leadership!"

"Ooh, ooh, social hierarchies will make this easier!"

"Yeah, let's make sure we establish a class of 'Dragon Knights' and give them no responsibilities other than to get into duels with each other!"

"Good, OK, great stuff everybody, I'm taking notes."

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Well, if you look at it from a historical point of view, feudalism was never really chosen by anyone, it just sort of happens when there is no major government to keep things in order. For example: in Europe, the fall of the Roman Empire meant that there no longer was anyone maintaining law and protecting the borders from invaders. People who couldn't fight sought the protection of people who could. Over time, society was divided between the peasants who worked the land and the nobility who took care of warfare. People only "chose" to become serfs in the sense that they chose to serve someone rather than get mugged/killed/enslaved by any random band of looters roaming around.

With the exodites moving to a world way more dangerous than anything they'd known before, the warriors could force their way into a higher social status than the others and that's all it takes to get feudalism started.
