Go and vote for your favourites, guys!

Obviously, I wouldn't say "no" to a vote for Horizon Wars for Best Game, but I'm realistic. Far more importantly, unless you have strong feelings otherwise, I would love to see people vote for Iliada Games Studio for Category 4 (Best Terrain/Accessory Manufacturer). If you've not heard of IGS, it's a one-man company based in Turkey. Ali - the one man - has been persistently and cheerfully making attempt after attempt to break into the wargames market, from sculpting and casting his own resin miniatures and terrain, to doing metal casting, until re-training in CAD, buying a laser-cutter and finding his niche in an imaginative range of card and MDF scenery for 6mm, 15mm and, now, 28mm wargaming.

His products aren't necessarily at the cutting edge of technology, but he is one of my hobby heroes. He has poured money, time and passion into trying to create a company almost unique in his country, and built a small but loyal community of supporters online through his terrific attitude and customer engagement (so probably deserves a vote in category 5, too).

I have no financial interest in IGS. In fact, as the owner of Precinct Omega I'm technical a competitor. But Ali deserves to be better known and recognized for all he has done and achieved.

Does that say 23mm bases?

Yeah... Not sure what that's about, but Ali has a big thing about responding to customer requests (almost all of his products were because someone asked him to make them) so I have to assume there's a logical reason for them being 23mm.
