So I've got like an inkling of an idea for a theme army that would be quite simple if I could find somewhere to get bunches of casted bags, rucks, burlap, other type carrying containers that could be held in hands or slung over shoulders to add a thematic element to a group of models that wouldn't normally carry something like that.

Does anyone know of anything like that? I don't know what I would even Google to find something like that. I was thinking something like the Citadel box of skulls with various designs and sizes, but for bags.

maybe something like this:
https://anvilindustry.co.uk/Regiments/regiments-equipment/pouches-webbing-pack
its 30 pieces for 5 pound, which does not sound too bad. And Anvil has a lot more of similar stuff.

Everything on their webstore looks awesome, but unfortunately they don't have what I'm looking for. I need more fantasy/historical sacks. Slings or not is fine. There's some things that are close from Anvil, but not quite what I was hoping for. I was aiming for: potato or grain sacks primarily, maybe some backpacks as long as they aren't too detailed with adventurer/camping gear, maybe some heavy duty saddle bags for a beast of burden type look. Saddle not important.

Have a look at this tutorial on how to make bags of trash for modern urban games - If they were primed and painted brown they might work for historical/fantasy burlap sacks and bags - could be worth a try?

there used to be a slung bag, sewn together looking from GW. I thought it came with the Ogre Kingdom army. I have a few somewhere in my bits box but suddenly can't find them. Will keep looking
I was wrong, they are from the Kroot line. A sewn bag hanging from their waist.
Here is an example auction. see them upper right. If you can find them, they might work. Seem to be listed as Kroot meat bags and meat

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Both of these are quite great.

Been some great suggestions here. The bin bags idea is a good one, just rather worried about how they would hold up with primer and paint. Even sealed I would worry about the flexible, smooth surface flaking off paint over time.

If anyone finds more, I'm still on the lookout. I haven't given up on this conversion idea.

Cloth bandaids over your fingertips or on the handle of a paintbrush gives a good "rough burlap" texture when sculpting with putty.
Make general shape, lightly lubricate, roll on texture gently.

@Pourspelur; That is a great tip! I tried it out today and it worked like a charm. Took a bit to get the right angle/pressure, but the results are nice. Thanks for sharing!

Always happy to help!
To be honest, I stole the idea from scale modelers making sandbags.
