So i just finished infantry for SM and im looking for dreadnoughts. I was wondering about contemptor (have some lore looks nice and is taller than boxy type) or redemptor ( who is cheaper and tallest of all but i dont like the fact that its using pilots like batteries). Which one is better choice?

In your case the contemptor.

Why? Because you have something specific about the redemptor that you dislike. Everytime you field it you'll think of that & have just that tiny bit less fun.

You are right. GW added SO MUCH grimdark in everything even dreadnoughts arent safe from it. Redemptor looks cool and all BUT you can forget about venerable redemptor. Just venerable battery
