Can painboyz heal squigoths or is that right out?
Does a KFF work when a Big Mek is riding on one even though it's not a vehicle?

Thanks

Painboyz can only heal INFANTRY or BIKERS.

KFF should work protect the Squiggoth though, since the Ability doesn't ask for a Keyword, but says: "while Embarked, the vehicle transporting it has a 5++". I'd say a Squiggoth is a vehicle, even if it doesn't have the VEHICLE keyword.

Painboyz can only heal certain keyworded units, of which the Squiggoth is not one of them.

As for the KFF, it's a classic case of GW not bothering to account for Forge World models and/or Forge World not accounting for GW not accounting for FW models.

The Squiggoth is not a "vehicle", but the KFF rule says "vehicle", not VEHICLE. In short, I would say that the rule doesn't work RaW because despite not using the keyword "VEHICLE", the Squiggoth is not a "vehicle" in the colloquial sense. You'll need to clarify with your opponent whether they agree it works or not.
